Father Luan is the first Vietnamese Scalabrinian

Joseph Lang Kinh Luan is the name of the first Vietnamese to be ordained as Scalabrinian priest. It happened Friday April 10th 2015 in Manila, Philippines. The celebration, presided over by Bishop Honesto F. Ongtioco, bishop of the Diocese of Cubao, marks the beginning of a new and interesting page in the history of the Scalabrinian Congregation
