The Scalabrini Centre is located in Cape Town, South Africa and offers development and welfare programs to immigrants and refugees with the goal of socioeconomic integration. The Centre serves about 700 people per month. One of their programs is the Lawrence House, which offers 29 children from ages 6 through 18 a home, educational opportunities and a safe environment for living.
