A mission that continues to generate hope: the Scalabrinian Missionaries publish their first Annual Report

More than 546,000 migrants assisted, over 70,000 seafarers accompanied, and 136 missions across 35 countries worldwide. These are some of the figures highlighted in the first Annual Report of the Missionaries of St. Charles Borromeo – Scalabrinians, created with the desire to preserve and share the fruits of a year of mission lived alongside migrants.

Inspired by the four verbs proposed by Pope Francis — welcome, protect, promote, and integrate — the report retraces experiences, stories, and challenges that marked the Congregation’s journey throughout 2025, revealing the strength of a charism that continues to see human mobility as a place of encounter, fraternity, and hope.
