SIMN on Vatican Radio
On 1 November 2016, the radio program “Magari, il mondo com’è e come potrebbe essere” dedicated an episode to the Scalabrinian Congregation. Fr. Leonir Chiarello (SIMN executive director) and Emanuele Selleri (director of Casa Scalabrini 634) talked about different initiatives and projects.
Magari, il mondo com’è e come potrebbe essere, the program of Vatican Radio that deals with development and international cooperation, dedicated the episode on November 1, 2016 to the Scalabrinian congregation. Father Leonir Chiarello, director of the Scalabrini International Migration Network (SIMN), and Emanuele Selleri, director of Casa Scalabrini 634 were called to talk about various initiatives and projects.
F. Chiarello had the opportunity to talk about the next important appointment with the Forum on Migration and Peace, to be held in Rome in February 2017 too. The event, a world conference with the participation of important actors of the migration reality (heads of state, representatives of international organizations and civil society), aims to stimulate an ongoing dialogue for a common agenda and proposes the definition of a way of cooperation for migration management.
